week 2

In this service learning project I am determined. I feel this way because I already got my hours in and set up everything with the fire station as fast as I could. I also set my goals really fast which were learning about what you do when you are a firefighter and helping the city out and make sure the trucks and fire department look good and clean and could help them be faster to their calls. I also wanted to learn some medical stuff which all the firefighter know about because one day I want to do something in the medical industry. I faced many challenges including having to talk to the chief about what we were doing and explaining the project. I think that I got better at talking to people and I got a better understanding of what this project is for and about by explaining the details to him. Know I know that we are doing this project because the teachers are trying to make us into better and more caring people.
