Did I set and maintain high personal standards?
yes, because my standards through this whole project was to work hard, learn, and help the firefighters and the city of prior lake.amd I think I kept up with these standards throughout the whole project.
Did I spend enough time to do quality work?
yes I spent about 8 or more hours working hard making the firefighters food, cleaning he trucks, and learning more about what firefighters do.
Did I regulate procrastination, distractions, and temptations to complete my work?
yes, i have my dad(who was with us) my phones so I would not be distracted and so I could learn better and work harder to help the firefighters and the city of prior lake. Also i got it done before the first quarter ended and set up a time to do it like a week after you announced this project. Also i wanted to stop because my legs hurt and i did not because I forced myself to wanted to help so much.
Did I ask questions if I needed help?
yes, before I did anything I made sure I knew what I was doing. For example, my dad said look clean the engine, and I did not know how to open the hood to see the engine so I asked my dad and he showed me how to do it.
Did I review and re-review my work for potential errors?
yes, because I made sure I did whatever I possibly could to help the city and firefighters. And when I got board I said to myself what are more thing I can do ? Then after I did my work I reviewed what I did and made a list of what I did and gave it to my dad and asked him if I could do any more.
Did I make good use of available resources?
yes, because I used my dad and other firefighter to achieve my goals(help the city and the firefighters and learn what they do and see if I want to that in the future).
Am I truly, publicly proud of my work?
Yes, I am truly happy with my work because I achieved my goal and I realized helping people makes you feel really good about yourself and your cause.
What lessons did you learn throughout working on this project? (ie; don’t procrastinate.)
I learned that I like helping people because it makes me feel good about myself and that I think I may want to be firefighter when I get older. Also I learned how much work and effort goes into being firefighter and how much selflessness you need to have. I Truly think that every firefighter is a hero and they should get more credit for doing what they do.
