first week trait

In this service learning project I am determined. I feel this way because I already got my hours in and set up everything with the fire station as fast as I could. I also set my goals really fast which were learning about what you do when you are a firefighter and helping the city out and make sure the trucks and fire department look good and clean and could help them be faster to their calls. I also wanted to learn some medical stuff which all the firefighter know about because one day I want to do something in the medical industry. I faced many challenges including having to talk to the chief about what we were doing and explaining the project. I think that I got better at talking to people and I got a better understanding of what this project is for and about by explaining the details to him. Know I know that we are doing this project because the teachers are trying to make us into better and more caring people. I love the feeling of being a good person so I think i will do more go...

I feel like in my service learning project I am curios. I believe this because I ask many questions because I am interested in learning more stuff about that subject. For example when my dad was giving his speech on his job, chief treasurer, I asked him many questions if he could go into detail more about what he exactly does and what it does for the fire station and city of prior lake. By doing this I learned many new things that I did not know before. For example I learned a treasurer is a person who controls the money that the fire station has(writes checks). I also learned it takes a person who is really concentrated with a lot of patience and who is good at math.
